York Arena in Fredericton gets a reprieve

The City of Fredericton is building a new arena with two ice surfaces called the Grant-Harvey Centre. The City was planning to tear down the old York Arena after the new Grant-Harvey Centre opens. A citizens group is attempting to save the York Arena. The group says the city needs the York Arena to provide additional ice time.
